I recently had to go Gluten, Dairy and soy free and was worried about eating at a restaurant.Surprisingly, they had a few things for me to choose from. I ordered the Butternut squash, stuffed with Quinoa and carrot bits. It had a zippy sauce and was amazing and was enough for a meal for me! The rest of my party shared Tapas and loved them. We have been at Chill before.

Hands down one of the best restaurants in that area! Our table of 4 adults and 3 children had dinner. The food was absolutely delicious and they had gluten free options for myself. We ordered a variety of small plates and peered several of the same because they were just that good. The kids had to take their hamburgers home with them because they enjoyed the lobster bisque and escargot so much. We thought the portion sizes were really good considering the price. Our meals were delicious and some adults had to get boxes because they too were not able to eat everything.
The upscale atmosphere was very welcoming and relaxing. The decor was in good taste. We dressed up a little but I don't think it would matter if we didn't. The waitress was fabulous and the food didn't take long considering the menu. They have a nice bar that sits in the center of the restaurant that could be nice to visit as a couple.
Overall, we were very pleased and we will be back again!

Early November Dinner on the Patio @ Chill - St Pete Beach
Stopped in to talk some business with the owner of Chill on Corey Ave in St Pete Beach this afternoon (Making arrangements for our Tampa Bay Restaurant Review 10K Member Celebration Party) when low and behold food soon changed the topic of conversation.
Ruthie Hill Buxbaum has been kind enough to offer up her restaurant for our little shindig. After-all not every group of food reviewers gets to celebrate the addition of it's 10,000th member/reviewer around these parts...RIGHT? More details about the party (November 14th starting at 5:30 PM and going on until.... - The place is all ours (Closed to the public) so who knows?) - Later
Now on to the food!
Ruthie first teased us with her order of Black & Blue Fondue
Pan seared filet tips, blistered and chargrilled cherry tomato served with a creamy blue cheese dipping fondue - OMG! My daughter had never had fondue before and considering she is a certified cheese nut, this was a big hit with her. For me the tenderness and flavor of the beef was beyond reproach and well, DAMN GOOD!
Then we sat down to dinner...
My daughter ordered a Mushroom Swiss Burger with Fries - 1/2 lb of Certified Angus hand pattied goodness - with sautéed mushrooms and melted Swiss cheese. Daughter especially loved the french fries.
I got serious and ordered the Meatloaf entree - I mean REALLY? Just look at the pictures - this is a mountain of shame - why? Because I ATE THE WHOLE THING! - Took me a while, but I did it! - Black Angus Choice ground chuck meatloaf hand made and topped with BBQ sauce and Onion Straws Galore! Served over loaded Mashed potatoes with other unmentioned good stuff underneath... loaded stuff I guess - I don't really care - it was tasty!
Special mention for the side of a house salad - again see the pictures to get an idea of the kind of house this is... I honestly have not enjoyed a salad so much in a very long time. I ordered Ranch dressing to go with so I could share with daughter and darnit of the kid didn't devour about 2/3rds of this side dish. It was Sooooo Good.
The came dessert - which was highlighted in an earlier posting.
Simply called "Red" - read the menu - read our previous review post - whatever you read...... Oh My it does not cover this. I have never ever had anything associated with the terms "Red velvet Cake" that even came close to tasting this good. This is NOT red velvet Cake, mind you, it is a masterpiece of decadence!
Perfect atmosphere - wonderful food, great service by our lovely and very informative and attentive server Karen with studious and able management by George all the while we were there, attending to all sorts of details, silently and efficiently.
This is indeed the place to go, when you want to CHILL!

We were only in st Pete for 3 days, and we came here twice. The first time we were just having appetizers, but the apple sweet baked brie was to die for. It was perfect and my wife and I ended up eating the whole thing.
The next morning we came for breakfast, and it was amazing. I had the Sedona Scramble with smoked chipotle hollandaise sauce. It was perfect. My wife had the spinach artichoke and goat cheese crepes. I simply could not believe how good everything we had was.
The service is excellent, the food was stunning and the environment is cozy and fun. Be sure to try the espressotini if you are in the mood for a stronger drink than soda or coffee.
Chill is a restaurant that you MUST go to if you are near St Pete Beach.

Fabulous Innovative "Small" Plates
I was delightfully surprised when my brother Frank, who has dined numerous times at Chill, suggested it for a Sunday brunch. The coffee was superb as we poured over the innovative menu, all the while enjoying our open air table and view of the Corey Street market. Ultimately, we chose the breakfast buffet- a wise choice no doubt. The custom made pancakes were exceptional as well as the peeled shrimp and smoked salmon. Gilbert kept our coffee cups full as we enjoyed the saxophone music. We did not partake of the Bloody Mary buffet! I'll try that next Sunday.
Then on Monday I returned with my wife for a not-so-small " small plate" dinner!
Leslie enjoyed her fig infused cocktail as we struggled to chose our selections. Michelle was helpful and recommended that we stage our dining. We started with a bowl of French onion soup, just like in Provence, followed by a savory brie platter. The melted brie was topped with leeks & shallots, applewood smoked bacon, sautéed mushrooms, fresh herbs- all bubbly & warm served with a baguette. We devoured it happily. Our final course was so delicious, it is impossible to find the words to do it justice, but I will make an attempt. The "Pescatarian Delight" consisted of the fresh catch of the day which happened to be a fish we had never tried - Corvina, pan-seared and tossed with mushrooms, spinach, onion, garlic, leeks and capers in a light but over the moon delicious sauce of white wine and seasoned stock and served on a bed of Spaghetti Squash. The food was truly exceptional and we look forward to returning and trying some of the other innovative dishes, though my wife an avowed carnivore demands that we have the Pescatarian Delight again. We also enjoyed reading about Ruthie the owner while we chatted with Michelle. A wonderful evening and we plan to return again this week. A great value! Three small plates more than satisfied us and we even had some left-over.

Highly recommend this delightful restaurant/bar!
We popped in after walking around the Sunday Market.
We were seated straight away and offered either food from the menu or we could opt for the Sunday Brunch Buffet! We chose the brunch from the buffet! It was delicious with lots of choice , fruit , olives, cold cuts , fish including shrimp or you could have the bacon sausage, egg and roast potatoes!
All of it was delicious and at 16.95 well worth it as you can go up as many times as you like!
There was also a live musician to add to the mood ! It was a fab Sunday Brunch !!!!
